When I die, shed no tears.
From saltwater, I cannot return.
Among waves of sorrow, nothing good will
you find.
Though death is part of life, sadness only steals the
joy of tomorrow.
In the hollows where you found me once, place a smile
instead.
And as it spreads across your lips, wish me well to rest in
peace.
I am the bird released that flies with wings outstretched, to
earth, I shall not return.
Save your tears, I am free.
Watch me rise from the depths of my melancholy maelstrom.
